What we collect

Contact details you give us: name, email address and phone number.
Your CV or a job specification, and the information it contains, such as employment history and qualifications.
The content of your message, and whether you are contacting us as a candidate or a client.
Basic technical information needed to run the website securely, such as your IP address, which is used for spam protection.

How we use it

Candidates: to consider you for suitable roles, contact you about opportunities and, with your agreement, introduce you to prospective employers.
Clients: to respond to your enquiry and provide our recruitment services.

We rely on your consent (which you can withdraw at any time), on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and on our legitimate interest in providing specialist recruitment services. We will never sell your data or share your CV with an employer without telling you first.

How your information is handled

Messages and files sent through this website are delivered straight to our inbox by email. They are not stored on the website.

We use trusted service providers to run this website and deliver your messages: Vercel (website hosting) and Resend (email delivery). They process data only on our instructions.

How long we keep it

We keep candidate and client records for 24 months from our last contact with you. At that point we review them and delete anything we no longer need, unless you have asked us to keep your details on file or we are working with you on a live role.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for a copy to take elsewhere, or withdraw your consent. Email info@robertadamssearch.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
