A small pool, with plenty of competition

Engineers with waste and recycling experience are scarce. The sector is competing with power generation, utilities and general manufacturing for the same people.

Carbon capture and energy transition roles are newer still, there’s no established candidate pool for them yet at all. This is why having an active, engaged network in place matters so much.
